Martedì 9 marzo alle 22.00 (1:00pm SLT) Astral Dreams’ Art Gallery inaugura la mostra fotografica di Tani Thor. Lasciamo la presentazione alle parole dell’artista stessa:“Tani nasce in una fredda giornata di dicembre del 2007, e come se fosse una sorpresa di Natale, scopre un mondo parallelo fatto di pixel e di emozioni.
Ho girovagato mesi in questo modo virtuale scoprendo posti e persone, ma il mio primo contatto con l'arte è avvenuto per caso.
Non sono un'artista o una creatrice, non studio e difficilmente approfondisco, ma metto nelle mie "cose" (non mi sento di chiamarle opere!) l'istinto.
Unisco prim usando un mio personale senso del colore e delle forme, ma l'arte è un'altra cosa!!
Non troverai notecard di spiegazione nelle mie "cose", ognuno deve vedere ciò che l'istinto gli stimola, solo il nome farà immaginare quello che io ho sentito creandola...
Il mio approccio alla fotografia in SL è istintuale come tutte le cose che faccio....uno, due scatti al massimo, per cercare di cogliere quel emozione sfuggente.
I miei scatti vengono lavorati con Paint Shop Pro, ma cercando di non stravolgere mai l'essenza della foto stessa...”

Tuesday, March 9th at 22.00 (1:00pm SLT) Astral Dreams' Art Gallery inaugurates the photo exhibition of Tani Thor. Here the presentation of the artist, in her own words:
"Tani Thor came into being one cold day in December 2007, like a Christmas surprise, on a journey of discovery in a parallell world full of pixels and sensations.
I wandered for months in this virtual world discovering places and people but my first contact with art came about by chance.
I don't consider myself an artist or a creator, I don't study and rarely look into things in detail, but rather my 'things' (I don't like to call them 'works') come together instinctively.
I work prims simply using my personal taste in form and colors: 'art' is another matter!
You won't find notecards explaining my 'things': each person should see in them whatever their instincts suggest, the name of each item will give some clue about the direction I meant their imagination to take when I made the object...
My approach to photography in SL is also instinctive, like the rest of my work... one or two shots at the most, to capture the fleeting feeling.
My photos are reworked using Paint Shop Pro, but every effort is made not to lose the essence of the original picture..."
